NYUAD gives you a chance to learn the Pizzica Tarantata Dance.
The Arts Center at NYU – Abu Dhabi is in full swing and now you can be part of it in more ways than way.
Silvia Perrone of the Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino (CGS) dance group is offering a one-day class where you can learn the steps of the Pizzica Tarantata Dance.
As part of The Arts Center at NYU Abu Dhabi Spring Season, Silvia shows you how you can easily start dancing a Pizzica Tarantata, a traditional dance from Salento in the South of Italy.
Open to dancers of all levels, Silvia promises to explain the technicalities and the history of the dance form.
