A survey spanning participants from 18 countries found three GCC countries making the list
Who doesn’t want to live in the UAE?
From being a hotspot for some amazing events to boasting Michelin-rated eateries, cultural getaways and more, it’s the perfect life in more ways than one.
And now, the Arab Youth Survey has found the UAE to be named the most desirable place to live in, once again!
The results are based on interviews with 3,600 people, aged between 18 and 24 across 18 countries.
Major factors were safety and security in the UAE (41%), a growing economy (28%), effective leadership (24%), a clean environment (22%), and the ease of starting a business (20%).
The survey also found UAE to be what Arab youth would most like their own country to be like.
Additionally, most Arab youth find the UAE to be a good place to raise a family (19%), a country with high quality schools (16%), and a location with a strong cultural identity and heritage (16%) as well as a place offering generous salaries (13%).

The countries that followed were the US (19%), Canada (19%), Qatar (14%) and the UK (13%).
Qatar appeared in the top five for the first time in eight years, with the report suggesting it was enjoying a feel-good factor from hosting the FIFA World Cup last winter.
Making its debut appearance was Saudi Arabia, featured on the list of countries to emulate for the first time since 2017.
This year’s survey was also the first time in nine years that three GCC nations had been named among the top five model nations.
