No more visit visa to travel from the UAE to the UK

With the UK removing visit visa requirements for certain travellers, all you need is AED 45 going forward!

Stalling that trip to the UK for a while now? Well, get those bags packed because these reduced costs are too good to miss!

For Emiratis, GCC nationals and citizens of Jordan, entry to the UK is going to cost just AED 45 from now. The country has now removed visit visa requirements for these travellers!

Instead, they will pay 10 pounds or 45 dirhams for the Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA), which will allow them to visit the UK over a two-year period.

This makes the entry requirements from the GCC and Jordan the same as those from the US and Australia.

Until this change came about, Gulf nationals paid £30 per visit to the UK under the current Electronic Visa Wavier (EVW) scheme, while Jordanian nationals paid £100 for a visit visa.

The scheme will become available to Qatari nationals this October, with the rest of the GCC states and Jordan joining in February 2024 during a global rollout next year.
